We attach great importance to honouring outstanding artists and art mediators with public recognition and funding. At the Berlinische Galerie we have teamed up with partners to make seven awards. Apart from a purse, most of these distinctions entail a show at our museum. This is one way we work with the benefactors who endow these awards to promote contemporary art in the German capital.
