Workshop and Pop-Up Studio

The artist Marta Astfalck-Vietz (1901–1994) loved not only taking photographs, but also being photographed. For her often idiosyncratic (self-)staging, she experimented with accessories, clothing, fabrics, light, and shadow. On the occasion of the exhibition, a temporary pop-up photo studio will be set up in the Berlinische Galerie. Help yourselves to our collection and create your own scenes. With foils projected onto the wall, you can design changing backgrounds and turn the room into your stage. Capture your staging, whether it's a film sequence, group photo, or individual portrait, with your cell phone—it's your image.

From 12 years, drop-in possible at any time, without registration
