If you want to bring a group of 10 or more people or a school group to Berlinische Galerie, please buy a time-slot ticket in advance. Each time slot can take one group (max. 35 people). First select the date when you wish to visit, then the size of the group, and finally the time slot. A time-slot booking does not include a guided tour.

Admission is free for school groups and visitors under 18. Groups of 10 or more people pay the reduced rate.

You can book guided tours for groups directly through Museumsdienst Berlin (Tel. +49 (0)30-247 49-888, museumsdienst@kulturprojekte.berlin). In that case, it is not necessary to purchase time-slot tickets in advance.

You can purchase tickets online via the website or in person at the Berlinische Galerie's cash desk. After you’ve completed your booking, you can use the confirmation link to download your ticket. You will also receive it via email. Depending on how you book your online ticket, it may take up to ten minutes to receive the confirmation email. Do be sure to check your spam folder. The online ticket can then be presented as a printed copy or scanned from a smartphone screen as a mobile ticket.

Your online ticket for the Berlinische Galerie can only be refunded if the entire event is cancelled or if the entry is no longer possible on the specified date and time. Please also refer to our terms and conditions.

The Berlinische Galerie and the neighbouring Jewish Museum Berlin have a ticket cooperation. Upon presenting a ticket from the Jewish Museum, we will grant you an admission discount. The same offer applies in reverse to temporary exhibitions at the Jewish Museum. Its permanent exhibition can be visited free of charge.

The Berlinische Galerie has created a Media Guide to 17 works in the permanent exhibition. It can be used on a device borrowed free at the museum or on your own smart phone, tablet or desktop. The borrowed device triggers the audio descriptions automatically. On devices borrowed at the museum, the content is displayed and played automatically at each station without the need to key in a number or press a button. You can borrow the Media Guide free of charge at our information desk in the museum foyer. We can also provide audio induction loops. These loops are for people using a hearing aid or cochlea implant with a telecoil. The volume on a borrowed device can be adjusted as required. If you use the Media Guide on a device of your own, the audio descriptions will not play automatically. You will trigger them manually. The exhibition labels indicate the relevant symbol beneath the title of the work. You can use adjust the Media Guide to your personal needs by altering the contrast and enlarging the script. All the audio content is also available in text form.

  • Browser-Version (without automatic triggering of audio clips in the exhibition)

Seven major works can be explored by touch. Tactile models made of different materials like felt, cloth and wood convey a textile impression of the original artwork in relief.

The Berlinische Galerie offers guided tours and workshops for people with disabilities in connection with our exhibitions. We frequently hold discussions about art and guided tours in/with German Sign Language as well as audio and tactile tours. You can find dates and further information here.
