Project Presentation: Sounding the Collection

What does a collection sound like?

In the workshop “Sounding the Collection” participants worked with artists Laura Mello, Bea Targosz, Özcan Ertek, and Andrei Cucu from Errant Sound to explore the Berlinische Galerie’s collection from an auditory perspective. The result is a series of experimental sound compositions that reinterpret and expand upon the artworks and exhibition spaces.

We cordially invite you to the final presentation: During a tour through the collection, the participants will present their compositions and offer insights into their ideas, approaches, and creative processes.

The presentation is part of the project “Sounding the Collection”, which was developed and realized by Greta Wehking in collaboration with Errant Sound as part of the the Voluntary Social Year "Culture" 2025/26.
